Royal Elite's legal department has detected a significant increase in the number of "resellers" claiming to be associated with us and trying to use our name to gain credibility. These companies use social media and advanced technology to send unsolicited emails (SPAM) to Vacation Club members in an attempt to obtain personal information or details about your contract.
If you have been contacted by an organization claiming to have buyers interested in purchasing your membership, you may be the victim of a membership resale scam. Some fraudulent companies pose as membership resellers and may use our name to give you a false sense of security and trick you into paying for a fraudulent service. Some of our members have reported to us that they have been contacted by companies (sometimes posing as Sandos) offering them opportunities to rent, sell or exchange weeks of their membership, or to buy it.
Unfortunately, NOT all of these offers are legitimate and if you accept the proposals, there is a possibility of being a victim of a scam. Therefore, it is our responsibility to inform our members about these suspicious companies and we recommend that they contact Royal Elite Customer Service if they are contacted by an unknown company.
No company can access your inventory without prior contact with us. If you are in doubt as to whether a "reseller" is actually associated with us, we ask that you inform us immediately. This will allow us to identify suspicious companies, alert our partners in advance to prevent future fraud and take legal action against these companies.
For your added security, we would like to remind you that the legitimate email addresses of our staff at Sandos Hotels end in "@sandos.com"; likewise, all legitimate email addresses of our staff at Royal Elite end in "@royalelite.com". In addition, all of our email accounts indicate the job title of our staff. For example:
